My name is Elisabeth Ross and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist through the NCBTMB
I went to school in Layton, Utah at Eagle Gate College. Shortly after graduation I moved to California where I worked at a spa in Big Bear Lake for the winter season. After that I moved to Los Angeles and worked for another spa in Beverly Hills for almost two years. I have found my calling here at Grand Junction Chiropractic Center and plan to stay as long as possible.
I have always loved helping those around me and have found that, since I was a kid, people of all ages look to me for help. I originally looked into becoming a psychologist, but found that was not where I belonged. It didn't take me long to find massage therapy and I am so glad I did. This career is more than that, it is a way of life and my true calling. Massage therapy, although a physical practice, allows me to help my clients in more ways than one; I have helped clients with Bells Palsy, fibromyalgia, depression, and anxiety. Massage therapy is not limited to physical ailments which is why I love what I do.
My technique is a little unorthodox and what sets me apart from my fellow practitioners is I do not focus on one modality during my clients' sessions. I work to release the whole body from stress, seeing how everything in connected, yet I do my best to determine the source of discomfort and focus my efforts on eliminating the cause. These parts of the body need to be worked deeply while other parts need a lighter, less abrasive touch.
Outside of work I take care of my son and generally enjoy life.
